Ok this has to be one of the most gorgeous moto’s I have seen.
Had a look on bike pics and It was under MZ – Baghira (recommended by Yams) well is it?? I don’t think so. The others don’t look like it!
I want this bike!
Bollox!

Very, they use the Yamaha XT engine. Performance isn't up to much though.. but a good motard if you're after comfort and reliability - they are still fun bikes, couple of people in our supermoto club have them and rate them highly - in fact most baggy owners seem to rate them highly!

It's not really modified that much mate, it's pretty standard!

Here is a standard baggy

https://www.beaudrymotorsports.com/images/mz/mzbaghirastreetmoto.jpg

the only differences are a set of renthal bars (£30) and a new exhaust with a custom made link pipe to point it upwards. It looks to have a cut down number plate holder thingy with a new rear light (looks mottraxey!) and smaller indicators.

Otherwise it's standard..

Yep, pretty much bog standard Baghira.

I hold the singular distinction of being the only person in the UK to have blown an engine (direct failure of the Japanese made conrod).

In my oppinion they look better if you fit a low level front mudguard off the mastiff (like on mine)and big twin spots (like on mine).

I had problems with the dealer getting it repaired under warranty but they are not a place I would have bought a bike off anyway. The only reason it was going there is because they went into partnership with the original dealer and that was the nearest place to where it blew up.

Dont want a car, want a supermoto Sad . Cant afford insurance on both though. How much do you think the insurance for a 17 year old with 1 years NCB living in a D* area would be, i would probably get a DT125 or some other form of 125. If it was under £500 then it might well be tempting to have both Praying
Not much chance of that though. Yams did you find out the extent of the damage to the KTM?

MZ's are dirt cheap..

The aprilia isn't and won't be a road bike (very much doubt it anyway!) if/when they release it to the public you're looking at £10k plus (from what I saw on another forum, not 100% sure.. won't be cheap that's all I know!)

Superchoward, haven't heard back from bike shop yet.

What's going on? People actually realising that MZs are nice bikes? Shock horror!

Pity they're rather rare though.

Bet all those people who payed a full thousand pounds more for the lower spec. CCM with a Suzuki derived motor are kicking themselves I'll bet.
