Motocompo NCZ50 AB12 Log book and Reg Plate re-registration

Hi guys,
New to this forum site.
I'm rebuilding a Honda Motocompo NCZ50 AB12.
I've owned it for 15 years plus.
Never owned the logbook.
Never had the registration plate.
How do I get the v5 and original number plate?
I've just this second ordered the DVLA
forms for imports and classics.
Is there a Honda Archive department?
I'm needing to get my Motocompo on the road
by middle of May 2016.
Any suggestions welcome.

Hi NCZ50

There are lot of variables, but the the first, main one is has it ever been on the road in this country, and do you know what registration number it was issued?

If it has then you need a V62, and then the DVLA will register you as the new keeper sending you a V5c, at which point you'll just need it MOT'd. No drama.

If its never been on the road then you may need to register it on with a Q plate or age related plate - which is fun, but we can get into that after you've replied!
