One of the guys from work has an SV650 and needs advice as to what rubber to put on it, and where would be a reasonably priced place to source them.

Any suggestions?

1. What type of riding? Is it mostly commuting or just for sunday blasts?

2. What's his location? I have a tyre place near me that is very competitive with pricing but that is an irrelevant suggestion unless you live near Leeds.

3. Michelin Pilot Road 2/3/4.

If he can change tubeless tyres himself I've found mytyres.co.uk pretty cheap. Even if he can't, they have some sort of arrangement with local fitters; there might be one near you.

Pilot road 3s worked a treat but then the Conti motions were also acceptable and around £80 cheaper...

I live near Leeds and need some tyres ASAP. Whats this tyre place called?

I have heard of Bike Tyres Leeds, Woosters and Start Rite at the bottom of Leeds who fit bike tyres.

I use Angel GTs on mine and they've not let me down yet with a 200 mile a week commute in all weathers and then weekend blasts.

ProTyre in Bristol are good and offer a ride in ride out service.
