I broke hard like a idiot when going fast round a bend and damaged myself and bike- could anybody with experience tell me how much roughly it might cost to repair- I've attatched pics- the only damage that needs fixing is exterior casing and cosmetic- but kind of serious- it functions excellent and everything works- would appreciate any helpful responses, thanks,

Arcane.

P.S its a Kymco Super 8 125cc Scooter 2013

Call the dealer you bought it from or if you got it off a guy then ask if he knows how to get spares.

Looks like £200 but I don't have a scootur and haven't a scooby about parts prices.

Learn from this slightly expensive experience.

You need to ride to your actual ability.
After just passing the CBT no-one is a completely comptetent rider.
Any accident without injury is a bonus.
As long as you learn and ride in more careful manner there is no harm done apart from to your wallet.

At least a few hundred of your British Ponds.

Its a 125 scooter. Ignoring the should have obvious "should have got a geared bike" comment, just cable tie it back together and keep riding it. Save the money you would use to repair it for your A2 test when you turn 19. (Also, if you're over 19 now, what are you doing?!)

I'm 20. I've never been on a motorcycle before- I thought CBT and scooter would be a good start this year- next year I will do A2- is that going to be hard to pass if I've ridden a non geared bike for a year? Surely geared cannot be too big a jump?

The gears are not hard to learn. You could learn to ride a geared bike to an ok standard in a day. When you get a bigger bike the gears are easier.

I rode a scooter for a year. Learning gears took me about an hour, and I'm more than double Arcane1729's age.
