So hypothetically, what do you think happens after this free EU passport give-away extravaganza? Switzerland's not in the EU, or Norway, or Iceland. Do you or I have any problems entering these countries on an EU passport? Zero.

No, but they have a choice to not let us in if they want, they can decide should the need arise. We wont have that choice unless we join them in having total control over out borders by also not being in the EU. ____________________ TZR250 2MA road, TZR250 1KT road, TZR250 2MA race, TDR250, YZF-750R Boost colours.

Syrian troops retake Palmyra
And not just any Syrian troops but Assad's troops.
Assad and Russia are going to retake Syria and all those non extremist groups (I choke on those words tbh, they are all as bad as each other) supported by Obama and David are going to get hung out to dry if the west does nothing to support them, which it won't. Troops on the ground is 1 step too far for NATO.
Good.
Well done Russia. You have shown us how to support your allies. Enjoy assisting Assad in popping off his enemys while laughing at the West. ____________________ Triumph Trophy Launch Edition |

Splendid. Strong dictatorships are the best thing for the Middle East. Stability and closed borders will keep them there.
I see that Greece has actually sent the square root of sod all migrants back to Turkey, because they all have to be given 'asylum' hearings. Baksheesh well spent.
Meanwhile, Germany is introducing gender segregated rail carriages because, well, something about respect for women, I expect. If they'd been that quick to surrender in the 1940s it would all have been over by Christmas Mawlid an-Nabī. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Does it fuck. Japanese are probably more proud of their country and culture and more anti foreigner than any country I have ever lived in. |
I felt the same in South Korea.
Not anti-foreigner though. Just very pro-South Korea. A really proud nation. I put this down to Japanese occupation, the more recent war that smashed them to bits, a fairly strict regime (mostly US-funded, I think) which pulled them back up, plus the fact they have 2 years of national service which I've already said is, in my opinion, sure to unite people with a sense of purpose and looking out for each other. What better for patriotism, or at least a sense of belonging, than being trained, and living, with the sole purpose of serving and protecting your country for two years?
Immigration policy is surely a factor too, however. Fairly homogeneous culture, bar the English teachers and American troops. Seoul has one area which has more foreigners than most, and then it's only bars to cater for western drinking habits. No 'enclave' communities, as far as I'm aware.
Interesting case of migration to Asia here: Africans in Guangzhou - or, at least, the type of migration where it seems the 'wrong people' are arriving. |

Molenbeek youths sent anonymous text messages - "Why don't you do the right thing and fight the west?"
Obviously a bad thing.
Also:
David Cameron Easter message
Count the amount of times he says Christian, church etc. Then replace those words with Islam or mosque, or any religious terms. These are the words of the leader of a major world power. A speech not peppered but utterly saturated with religious rhetoric, with rather violent undertones at that.
Also consider how much this speech will alienate a particular group of people in this country who we'd much rather live in harmony with at the moment; a particular group whose brethren also happen to be receiving texts saying to join the fight against 'us', the Christians.
Cheers Dave! I'm all for messages of unity, togetherness, support etc but it quite blatantly will not work, at all, when you lace it with such monumental religious bollocks that a certain 3 million people among us will be rather displeased to hear.
Can we just separate the state from religion once and for all please. Fighting ISIS is important but speeches like that are a key ingredient in the recipe for making more 'home grown' terrorists. Dave probably realises this but he's safe so 'meh'. I wouldn't be surprised if he was willingly keeping the tensions high to further a certain ongoing Middle-East control agenda that nobody seems to be talking about any more, or we've all grown weary of.
Might as well have called that video the official 'London Bombings Round 2' announcement. |

No matter what your religious views, personally I don't believe in any of it, we live in a Christian country, where the church of England is Christian and Easter is the biggest Christian religious festival.
It's about time some other cultures in the UK started tolerating the home nation's culture, rather than Muslims murdering other Muslims for wishing a happy Easter to their native customers.
Try talking about Ramadan without mentioning Islam. ____________________ TZR250 2MA road, TZR250 1KT road, TZR250 2MA race, TDR250, YZF-750R Boost colours.

Do you reckon that the particular group of beings that I imagine you're referring to would prefer to live in harmony with us? |
Honestly, yes. The majority do. Just like the majority of Brits would prefer to live in harmony. It's a minority on either side who are really flaming the hostility.
It only takes a few choices words, i.e. kids in Molenbeek being told to fight the west, or people of Britain being told to stand up for 'Christian values', to turn us against each other.
Considering how strongly some people use religion to form their identity, and considering the nation is now only 50% Christian (or probably less - many people will tick 'Christian' on the census having not visited a church in years), the Christian-centric nature of David Cameron's message to the nation was hugely out of touch and, even worse, very threatening towards those who will have acutely noticed his special mention of Christians being persecuted in the Middle East, without even hinting at the fact that there are actually people of all faiths being attacked over there. So it becomes a 'Christian brotherhood' thing.
I'm not against defending the nation and getting rid of those ISIS morons, but to broadcast a national message with such a heavy Christian-only tone to a nation of atheists and a minority of increasingly alienated Muslims is a massive own goal.
It now very much is a religious battle. What century do we live in again? |

I like this post. I very much dislike the idea of "Christian values". It assumes that without Christianity, we'd be value-less.
The Prime Minister should not utter words of a religious nature, as previously mentioned regarding the separation of church and state. ____________________ I'm Sam; Northern, Ginger, Lover
