I am looking for a good aprilia or 2 stroke mechanic in central or west scotland please give me some recommendations.

Hi,
my problem is it will start but it will not rev much and the radiator Is maybe broken because the temp goes up very quick.
I dont want to try it myself not really confident with the tools.

Yes there is water in the tank its between max and min.

You say the temp gauge heats up, does the rad? Feel it. If it isn't it could be the thermostat. You can test it by pouring boiling water over it and seeing if it moves.

Yes i think the thermo is broken because the rad is cold and its not really enough time to warm up. Is it an easy job to get to and test.

You 'could' remove the thermostat. Very small easy to remove item, just means it takes a few ice ages to warm thoroughly.
