Some say you can, though you're only allowed out on a 125.

You can race 125's from the age of 13, so they might be okay with you going out on track on one.

With all these comments you're making you're going to look a bit stupid if you ever get the bollocks to go on track and are shit slow aren't you.

No they won't, I have never seen anything below 250cc on track, the only place I know of that allows 125's is the european superbike school and those are race 125's and the riders hold a race license.

I've seen plenty of two stroke 125's on track days, at Lydden there were ever a couple holding their own in the fast group. No rules against it, though if you tried to book a place at Silverstone on a CG people might look at you funny...

Laughing

This has to be the funniest thing I've read all day! Martin why don't you book up, the RGV should be fine at this point and having seen Silverstones it seems a good track to start out on. And since it's only Shauns 2nd trackday he's hardly an expert! Wink

I don't recall stateing that i was any better, only that he would be keeping you company at the back Laughing
I won't be keeping you company as i am too poor, and its a little too soon.
I want at least a month to get used to the bike being sorted and then i'll see about booking up.
I was planning to do just darley, but now mike has a 3 bike trailor, i might be able to do silverstone or cadwell Very Happy

Thinking

When I spoke to ESS on the phone they mentioned they now let mini monos on the track but they can only do this because of the pace system that they have in place so I assumed they weren't allowed to let 125's on the track before.

Oh so now you're saying you're as quick/slow as me, yeah well you're going to look pretty stuid if I leave you behind now aren't you. Razz

Darley moor seems a bit pricey for what it is, this silverstone trackday costs £88 or a trackday at a small triangle track costs £110. I just thought, Darley moor has noise restrictions, aren't 2 strokes pretty loud!

For my 2p, a trackday with lots of people to 'hang' with is more fun than a trackday by yourself. Thumbs Up

I just booked myself and 3 mates up so there cant be too many left now, if you are thinking about booking up don't think about it for too long.

I may be able to offer some accommodation / camping / secure parking if anyone is interested?

Bad luck mate, can you not get onto the reserves list? It is Silverstone after all, so a near certainty that a few people won't turn up / will bollocks up their bikes early in the day Idea

Anyway... so who is coming to this one?
