Hello,

Sending off for the V5 for my mk 1 mito i bought a couple years ago as a restoration project. The V62 form is asking for the vin but looking at the Vin tag I cant figure out what the actual vin is.

The number writing on the vin is as follows

CAGIVA DGM 52999 0M 8P *003627*

Any help would be great, thanks Jason[/list]

Hi

What is stamped on the head stock (not on any riveted on plate)?

Vin numbers are a standard format these days. I thought (but far from certain) that the Mito would be new enough for that.

All the best

Katy

Hello sorry wasn't clear enough on my first post, I know where the vin is on the bike but i cannot tell what the VIN number is off the headstock it is as follows;

"CAGIVA DGM 52999 0M 8P *003627*" I just cant figure out which of these numbers is the 17 digit VIN, all my other bikes are simple just plain to and simple vin numbers haha, just need it to send off for the V5 as summer is on its way

Hi

On that I would say it is a pre standard VIN chassis number, and the 003627 is the number

All the best

Katy
