SUZUKI TU250X any good ?

Hi to all. Last year I back into motorcycling after a long break away from it and bought a small Pug Speedfight 100 just to see whether it was still for me. As it happens I've enjoyed it so much I'm now starting to look at something a little bigger. I've just spotted a Suzuki Tu250x up for sale for £350 and it looks it very good condition visually. I don't want a fast bike in particular. I just want something that keeps up with the normal flow of traffic and feel relaxed in the process. So would this bike fit the bill for me. Are they a reliable bike and of a good build quality. I would only be using it for leisure on nice sunny summer days to be honest. I'm not that up to date on bikes nowadays so all your views are much valued and appreciated.

I doubt it'll feel that 'relaxed' at 70mph, but if it's all working ok and you don't mind the styling etc, seems like a decent price.

Wouldn't be what I'd choose for 'leisure' as to me it'd be pretty boring.

I like them, so do the Yanks. If it's already in decent nick then it should stay that way. I'm guessing that it's an import although you could buy the equivalent Sinnis Roadstar 250 if you want new. It looks like it's the same engine, but the Suzuki will be finished with better fasteners etc

I'd just go for it because at that price you'll get a proper little bargain runabout.

I looked at one (called a Volty) before buying the Enfield, same engine as the GN250 - top end is about 80 but is happier cruising at 65. Once voted world's ugliest bike For that price, it would be silly not to.

I wish the latest fuel injected incarnation was available in the UK, I'd be all over it like a cheap suit.
