Congrats! I felt a lot of pressure with a big bike sat in the yard. Despite accusations to the contrary by my instructors I was good and stayed off it until I passed..but was straight out on it that afternoon, amazing. Good luck!

Thanks, this is the bike I've been doing my das on. My bike school put it up for sale so I grabbed it. Perfect bike for me Smile

Bravo, you!

Now. Enough of you. Let's talk me. I signed up here last September-

It's April now and I still haven't done my CBT...

Been waiting for this damn provisional to get through (passport ran out...last September... Rolling Eyes )

I've been opening threads like this and crying ever since.

Welcome!

When is your Mod2? oh, and relax it's quite usually easier than the Mod1, it certainly was for me. The Mod 1 was full of unnatural manouvers, like figure of eights and slaloms and even u-turns (that we just dont really do in the real world), the mod2 is just you having a nice leisurely ride at the correct speed for a bit, a couple of pull overs and sets offs and boom! home time with your certificate in hand.

Best tip I can give is to talk to yourself while you are doing it, about what you are doing. Stuff like "30mph limit here", "Shoulder checks, cancel indicators", etc. It serves to stop you thinking about being nervous. Also I read other people doing things like answering the examiner back with stuff like "Yes boss" and laughing.

Anyhow enjoy your time here and stay away from Rogerborg, he's the sensible one.

My mod 2 has just been booked for May, thanks for the tips I will try that. I talk to myself a lot anyway so no difference there 😜
