I was chatting with someone I know who has connections with the local shifty business family. It occured to me that as the local population is around 250'000 then extrapolated for the whole of the UK that's about 240+ of these families. Wow I thought, that's a lot if organised criminality and that's not even counting minor ancillary outfits. Its also very focused though so surely takling them for an organised state shouldn't be hard. Still they persist though which begs the question of quite high level corruption. So just how much penetration into the state do these families have?
