Thanks to those bastards at Virginmedia closing down everyone's webspace in a couple of weeks many of the posts that I have made over the last ten years or more that have images linked into them from my webspace will no longer show the images Mad Mad Mad

So now, I have to find an alternative host for my images. I'd rather not use photobucket-type accounts and want to be able to ftp files in and link them in just the way I have been used to with my VM space.

Looking for suggestions. I don't mind paying a nominal fee and I just want basic hosting with no fuss for my without any advertising or other crap attached.

I didn't realise you can link dropbox pics into forum posts. I'll have a look at that, thanks.

Probably can do the same with any cloud provider.

Google stores pic for free iirc, Amazon does if your prime.

I link via one drive now as that's my preferred cloud provider

Google Drive is worth a shout too, think you get 10gb free with a Gmail account?

I got 30gb free with my Apps for Work account for £3.33 a month (includes more than just space) and upgraded it to 1TB for £6.66 a month.

I was going to suggest that but can you direct link?

He's wanting to upload images and drop them in threads, etc.

You can with older dropbox accounts - you cab pretty much use it as a static website if you want.
Newer accounts you can't for that very reason; but I'm not sure what you do get as far as direct linking.
They do have a 'carousel' product which offers various gallery features.

Yes you can, it's just disabled by default. Just enable it:

I'm a little Mr. Green so ignore me if I'm wrong.

Wasn't there talk about a BCF members cloud type thing a while back?
