yeh 70's suzuki 2T so GT of some capacity nprolly 185 or 250

Definitely a GT something-or-other. It's hard to tell if it's a twin or a triple, but the absence of ram air suggests a twin (think I'm right in saying the triples only ever came with it), so probably either a GT250 or 500. To my eyes the tank doesn't look quite bulky enough to be a 500, so I'd guess a 250 but am not totally sure.

I'm sure they all eventually had the ram air (mates had the 125 and the 185, I briefly (before the X7 the GT250)

GT500 didn't have ram air.

Not a GT500, cooling fins are too square

Do explain. I've never seen a GT380 or 550 without it, and cannot find any pictures of one in a halfway original state without it. The 250s on the other hand, came both with and without it.

I misread your post. I thought you were saying that it was just the triples that had Ram Air.

GT250. Not a K model, that had ramair. Tank badge is not "A" model.
Earlier GT's (up to "K") had R/A, longer stroke and narrower bore compared to "A" onwards.

Ignore me, I was sure the fugly tank was early model. No ram air and chrome headlight shell points to a late model bike (they went back to a metal chrome headlight shell for some reason.
