Stuff I've seen on the road this week

I've done a (very) short clip of three things I've seen on my commute this week:

Head-on collision in Brixton
Smashed bike on the Old Kent Road.
Vehicles in the outside lane of the A2 after crashing.

The Old Kent Road one looked pretty nasty that one hope the guy avoided serious injury.

I saw someone driving with no taillights last night while I was out in the van. They had headlights, my guess would be they didn't know the taillights were out. I thought I'd be helpful and let them know as it was fortunate I'd come up behind them in a streetlit area.

Passed them, stuck on the hazards and gently slowed down.

They indicated right and passed me.

Hmmm. Ok, try again. This time also waved arm out of window in a "stop" handsignal.

Again, they passed. I thought I'd leave it and see if they were stopping in the next town since I was headed that way anyway. Next news they have the foot to the floor and headed for the horizon.

I can only assume they were either a) Up to something or b) Thought I was trying to pull them over to murderdeathkill them and dispose of their corpses in a rolled up carpet in a laybye.

Odd if it was the latter though because my van is signwritten and local.

Today I saw a woman on a mobility scooter waiting patiently at some traffic lights. As I passed by I noticed that she had a dog on a lead wearing a little high vis jacket, it was also waiting patiently so I presume that the woman takes her dog out for a drive(?) regularly.

Some people are weird.

it was a rescue dog and a pain on a lead but ive since got it walking without one

this would of been so much easier for him

Not sure if it was anyone on here, but on Friday morning I saw what looked like a Suzuki sportsbike 600cc or bigger laying on the pavement in a road into Worcester city centre, with a the road closed and a fire engine hosing down the chared remains.

The bike was just a burnt out black mess at this point, and the owner a guy in his early 30's I'd say was sat on a wall about 30m away talking on his phone.

It got me thinking, has anyone on here ever had a bike catch fire while riding, and or it got so bad you had to walk away and let it burn?

I was in the front passenger seat of a car with a girl from work a few days ago (she's from Lithuania btw) and I was giving her directions of where to go, when I made the almost fatal mistake of telling her to turn right at the roundabout.

Thankfully there was no other vehicles on said roundabout as she calmly went anticlockwise before I could scream NOOOOOO!

Think I'll stick to saying 3rd exit next time.

I have mainly seen road kill this week. The muntjac seem to keep coming out and getting flattened. Might pop one in the boot for dinner if I can get a fresh one.
