Recently started riding abit of a nugget of a cb125 brokendream.........brand new carbs service ect had nothing but problems with acceleration and top speed. 2nd-5th gear have a horrible judder past 7-8k rpm. Carbs have been balanced ect still a dog. Any advice aperciated

Has the valve clearances been checked?
What colours are the spark plugs?

Checked the plugs today lovely and brown look healthy ! Not checked valve clearances yet but there isn't any chatter from them...doing a tear down tomorrow so I'll definately check them

I`m thinking of tight valve clearances affecting high revs.
What about the chain tension with a rider on it and are all the links free to rotate?
Are the wheels buckled?
