Sorry but MOD1 & MOD2 question

Apologies if this has been asked before but I have searched and can't find the answer I need. My daughter is going to be doing her theory test in June and then looking to do the practical tests. She turns 19 at the end of August so can go for the A2 licence but can she do MOD1 on a 125 then do the MOD2 on a bigger bike or have both parts got to be taken on the same size bike. I know the theory lasts for 2 years so must be transferable.

Doing module 1 on a 125 would give an A1 pass only.
