Does anybody remember me at all
Didn't have the best start on this forum being a little younger and thinking I always knew best or just didn't take advice on board but I appreciate it all now
I'm almost 20 and have a slightly better job than last time and am now progressing towards my full bike license
When the time comes will definitely be asking for some advice on my first big bike, prefarably 600cc
Got my eyes set on a standard Bandit 600(any really, or if a certain one is best let me know), even though my dream bike is a suzuki gsx r600 ____________________ Motorcycle riding can be really cozy. If you want to be a little closer to your passenger, brake a little quicker for the next stop. |

I thought your bike (tmec?) had finally killed you, glad to see you're still alive
So you're going to ride a restricted Bandit? Would be my last choice personally, lots of fun 47bhp bikes about which weigh around 50kg less. |

I ride a 600 bandit, it's a sweet bike, I like it, looking at moving on next spring tho.. But tbh the power is all used up unrestricted I'm 6'2 and around the 13 stone mark. It'll sit at 80ish at 7k rpm ish. Which isn't bad but its revving high for long rides.
Maybe if you dropped a few teeth on the sprocket to give you a bit more bottom end poke it'd solve the problem of weight.
Nice bikes, if you like them. Easy to work on, easy to ride anywhere and as I've said before, it's like two bikes, I can cruise around in the top gears or stay in 2nd and 3rd loon gears, good for filtering, and very forgiving. I've only got 13k on mine but the rear shock is already on 6, so if you are looking at a higher mileage ones consider suspension overhaul or upgrades. Cb600 hornets are a nice alternative, tho again restricted idk. Restricted Horses need to be lightweight, but still I think if you like the bandit get one and then it's a easy upgrade when you unrestrict it or trade up to a 1200
I'd go for a mk2 and throw braided brake lines on, mazzive difference stopping makes ____________________ ybr125 Sold, GSF600 K1 Bandit (For Sale), FJR13000 gen2. |

My daily ride is a Bandit aswell its ok, its comfy to ride, but if it was a car it would be a 1.4 ford focus just nudged onto 40k mileage |

It's actually scary how good some peoples memorys are unless you just went on my profile an did some research
But yeah Kaya I'm only 5'4 myself an 140 pounds so I probably wouldnt even effect the bike much myself.. glad to hear they're easy to work on I bet there's tonnes of parts for most jobs that would need to be done to it
How'd you know that Mudcow did I mention it at some point? So is a Bandit a good option for a first big bike? I would need to restrict it of course for 2 years
Ffs Even Hans hahaha I actually did get strange pains in the heart area, had to ask Auntie BCF an I had a cold sore you tit ____________________ Motorcycle riding can be really cozy. If you want to be a little closer to your passenger, brake a little quicker for the next stop. |

I'd be thinking FZS600 rather than Bandit. The 1998-2004-ish version is bang on the 70kW limit for A2 restricting / "restricting". ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
