What, no tales of chalking up minors and being given a tongue lashing by DVSA Derek? Shocked

Nice one, and you've timed it perfectly. So, likely use of bike, inside leg, propensity for spannering?

Few minors but not enough to matter! Went round a double mini roundabout in neutral with 5 mins to go but momentum saved the day...

I'm probably gonna get something like a Bandit or a Fazer, will see what comes up. If anyone knows of anything decent going please let me know. Might commute a bit but mostly weekend fun.

Now I just need a helmet and some summer gloves and maybe lighter jacket/trousers and tax and insurance and a fancy kriega bag etc etc

Congrats. A2 or A?

Plenty around if that's your budget for the bike alone. I'd be running dummy insurance quotes as that may play a part in your choice somewhat depending on many varying factors with the one that you've only just got your license being the main one.

Sounds like you've got a lengthy expensive shopping list adding up, rather you than moi all over again. Laughing

If A, carb'd hornet maybe? Bit buzzy but strong engine and lots of parts available if needed. Could conceivably have a bit of change from 2k for a service and some consumables etc.

SV? A bit less revvy - finish might not be as good, but obvs not a thing if not winter commuting.

Full A licence.

Hornets look nice but seem a bit pricier than the others. I'd rather spend less if I can...

Bandit or Fazer are absolutely fine. I don't think there's a secret bike out there that nobody knows about but which is both better and cheaper.

Shhh! don't give the game away.

Not valid for A2, it claims over 70kW. You need the older FZS600.
