What a beauty! But once again I didn't win the lottery - otherwise this would be my next road bike. Can you stick RG500 silencers on it?

It didn't do too well - 4 finishes, 4 DNFs, 7th was its best result. But it's probably a bit nippier than my K11LT.

My dream bike would be one of these with a mildly tuned 'modern' RG500 engine in it....

Not a race engine? Is it one of those monsters which doesn't idle and needs 18,000 revs to get away from the lights? And an oil change every 200 miles?

Modern in the sense of an RG500 roadbike... These are modern to an old duffer like me!
