I got bored with just killing house plants, so I decided to throw this together today:

I have two pairs of those exact same boots. Came free with the uniform when I drove buses (alexandra workwear provided them I believe).

As for garden, I had almost half an acre once. I was too young and uninterested in gardening to really make any use of it. Then I moved into a modern terrace house with a garden the size of a postage stamp. Grew a surprising amount of edibles by "thinking vertically". Now I have a modest sized garden for BBQs and lounging. Can't beat a bit of green space. Good for the mind and soul.

When I was living down south most of the flats/houses I lived had gardens (from very small to small), it was only 1 place that I really put the effort in to the garden.... then me and the ex split up and moved out soon after.

As for the boots, well spotted, yes it was Alexandra

My back garden is a constant source of work and tip runs. The 80ft Oak tree alone provides me with enough leaves each autumn to sink a bloody battleship. Too big to prune myself it sets me back a few hundred quid every other year as well having it reduced so it doesn't block every last bit of sunlight from my embarrassingly mossy "lawn". And this year especially, the tree pollen has given me a snot fountain for the first couple of hours each day until I get used to that particular days pollen levels.

The last time I grew anything in a flat was from some seeds that I had that actually looked quite healthy Wink I thought I might get one or two that would go, out of about 70. All of em took off! Once the plants got to about 18-24 inches in height, I got paranoid about a helicopter that was flying around (for some reason, I was paranoid about everything back then Wink ), and at certain points on it's circuits, might've had a clear view in through my kitchen window, so I binned the lot Sad Mum, who didn't condone that sort of thing to say the least, wasn't too amused when she paid me an unexpected visit one day, not giving me time to put them all out of sight in the spare room Laughing
