Is there already a thread on here for women to chat about stuff that won’t interest the guys?

Such as, are fat mums on 125s welcome at biker cafes?

If we ride in an underwire bra and come off – do we end up impaled?

Is there any foundation that survives helmet cheek pads?

Did anyone else do their CBT with spare tampons in their pocket – only to find that after 4hrs on the saddle they’d moulded into bananas over the hip Kevlar, making cobbles and speed humps majorly uncomfortable?!

Is there anything I should be worrying about that I haven’t thought of yet?

Biker chicks – please impart your wisdom! Very Happy

Judging by years on here, I would estimate your target audience is around 20 active users. (not counting the ones who never drop hints casually, but I figure theyre happy to be one of the Anons)
Good luck. Thumbs Up

There's a case to be made for a new sub-forum to keep The Patriarchy out.

I'm in, I occasionally wear a skirt, and I cry while watching poignant films.

Wouldn't it be better to join mumsnet and ask them to start a bikers forum...?
One of our more outspoken women referred to a female pedesrian as a "mad cunt" recently. Hows that sit with the sisterhood?

She didn't say she wanted a separate part of the forum.
She created a thread. It's this thread.

You have been looking at willy straws, why lie.

I used to read my sister "Jackie" found such things very informative, having a "Lady" thread would be good.

To the OP....

The mumsnet thread above, in which they bitch about sexism and misogyny on biker forums, points to this: Curvy Riders MCC, a female-only motorcycle club and forum. Because wooo fuck the patriarchy and fuck gender stereotypes, we're curvy riders, with curves, because that's what being a woman is all about!

/rant

In seriousness, one of the main issues I've seen women bring up on here is that they think they're too short, or even too weak, to handle a big bike. As long as you can get your feet comfortably on the ground, I think anyone can handle any bike. It's just about balance Thumbs Up

No, and there is a reason for that.
(reason being neither the guys nor the women tend to respect boundaries round here Laughing )

Jokes about sanitary products tend to be the domain of our ex-comedian who doesn't hardly ever show his face here any more anyway.
