Sold the ZXR400 to a BCFer, it was collected last week.

Spent all this week looking at bikes, trying to find one that isnt overpriced by £500+

Viewed a 95 Thundercat, 50k, rear shock was shot, the lumpy was lumpy, and it is a Cat D.
Guy wanted 900 for it. I lol told him it aint worth it, offered 750.
He said nopes, so i walked away.

I started to panic, wondering if there was ever going to be a decently priced bike ever again.

Then a stock 95 ZX6r 30k, in Hartlebury popped up on scumtree for 750.
Pics looked decent, messaged the bloke and offered him 600.
He replied with 700, I said yup and collected it today.

It's in really really good nick and the lump is top notch.

No way, the presence of the original exhaust system is the best thing about it.

I've got the 95 copy of bike magazine somewhere in the loft, that had the headline '162.5mph king of the 600's' or something like that on the cover.

Your YZF750's and ZXR750's were not that fast down the runway, despite being the class of bike that was most aspirational to wannabe superbike racers back then. It was only when people started getting wet over 916's that the 750 class started losing sales for the masses, but having 600's that were faster couldn't have helped? Laughing

My mate had one of the first batch in the country back in 1995, in the same colour as Creg's. Think it was the first thing i cracked 150mph on, excellent bike.

Good price Thumbs Up Wish I could find something that nice for that price Sad Like you said, everything is so over priced these days, it's shocking.

Presumably for the BCF BBQ? Wink (not that I'm certain I'll make it this year Rolling Eyes ).

Must admit, I'm not sold on the colours, and the 400 was a very pretty bike, but nice to see something like this come up at that price and condition now and again. Enjoy Thumbs Up
