This is really tragic. People who die too early are often described in hyperbole. There is no doubt in my mind though that MMT was a future multiple TT winner. He was a real character too, who else would wear a bowler hat on a podium?

Only a few weeks ago his Manx GP rival passed away as well, another youngster Billy Redmayne. It's been a sad year so far for road racing.

I'm at the NW, was sat in my mates garden on the approach to black hill, saw the crash. Poor lad lost the front and ended up in the road 10 foot from where I was sat. Horrible to watch, won't get that image out my head for a while. Medical team did a good job but wasn't much they could do I don't think. RIP to a great upcoming talent.
