Best source for an IPhone 6 plus screen and digitizer assemb

I'm getting a bit fed up with cheap Chinese faulty replacements now. First display/digitizer assembly developed a vertical red line after a week's use and the glass wasn't bonded properly to the screen.

I need the phone working as I have 2 land lines on constant divert to it. My old cracked screen was in a bit of a state, so I ordered another form the same Ebay seller, to replace so I could send the faulty one back.

Second screen was DOA, big vertical band down the centre and one of the display connectors was a right state and had been clearly had a bad repair attempted. (These are supposed to be "Grade A" new items). A reseat of the IC ribbon cables made no difference, so had to refit the first vertical line screen and wait for another to arrive.

This time, I didn't want to risk the same quality so picked another seller. The Paypal invoice contained the same email address as the first two faulty ones, bugger.

Third screen arrives and yep, faulty on arrival again and clearly been "repaired" or returned before. So had to refit screen 1 with vertical lines again. Now at this point you start wondering if it's not the screens at fault and it's me damaging them, but I can refit the vertical line fault screen and my old cracked on several times without issue.

So, 2 screens back so far, one to go. I've ordered another form a British seller which does look new, but needed the cameras, earpiece, home button etc transferring. The display looks fine, but the digitizer has a mind of it's own, often unresponsive in certain areas and sometimes has a mind of it's own. I'll try a refit later.

Is there anywhere I can buy an OEM quality screen assembly, because so far, I've not had a lot of luck buying cheap Ebay ones.

OK, thanks. I'm going to remove after work hours today and leave for a couple of hours, before reseating and refitting whilst wearing an anti static wrist band. The seller is blaming static build up.

Apple shop?

I know someone who ran over their Idevice 6pointZero with an automobile. After crying, they made a "Genius" appointment and said "Genius" said a new screen and digitizer is £69 and takes an hour or so to fit. At this point it was stated if the screen didn't fix the fault (Ford Mondeo Estate weight applied to phone while atop some spray-and-lay) then a refurb would be £220 plus vat.

In actual fact when the "Genius" did the work, he damaged a camera beyond repair.

Hence, almost unbelievably, the replacement phone was free of charge.

Where abouts are you? I've always used a place called iPatch for this sort of thing, their prices aren't much more than the parts themselves (for the screen on my iPhone 5 and 6 anyway) and they're Apple accredited, so OEM bits.

They're only in Leeds though.

Unfortunately I'm in deepest darkest Kent and need the phone on during office working hours as 2 landlines divert to it.

I just need a good quality display and digitiser assembly really as all the ones on EBay appear to be crap, badly repaired units passed off as Grade A and new.

Not had any joy from Elekworld since the initial question asking how I heard of them.

The screen I'm currently using works but has a vertical line down the bottom LHS and the glass isn't properly bonded to the screen on the right hand side. It's the best I've found yet out of 4 Ebay efforts, but still grates me that I've paid almost £90 for a defective screen.

Someone must be able to supply one which isn't a sub standard, badly repaired piece of poo.

Yeah they are a good company, they can be a quick as 4-5 days, but also can take over a week, but that's usually a customs issue.

Their products are by far the best though, especially their higher end screens, as they almost certainly will be foxconn, or even better they sometimes do some with the latest gorilla glass, which exceeds the OEM quality. You may have ordered that.

The ones you buy on Ebay are generally the low end crap that end up getting cracked in no time, even if they fit right and work well.
