The blue frame is marmite, however once you see in person, its a million times better than a photo and far less in your face. Bazookas sound alright to be fair but incoming Danmoto....

Cool you kept the 2-2 titanium exhaust system. A lot of people just scrap that and buy a ''crappy'' 4-1 exhaust system with some carbon fiber composite silencer.

Very shiny bike for a 6year old dude!

The blue frame is no worse than the Maroon R1's, and is just different not offensive to me.

I have to say what have they done looks wise to what was a classic sportsbike? The K1-3 GSXR's were as sexy looking as modern GSXR's got, but this to my old bastard eyes looks about 10steps backwards and wacky in like 80's turbo bikes did but in a much less extreme way. (sorry!)

Yeah its not everyone's cup of tea for sure but the modern power and feel outclasses the older ones and big fairly young I really like the anime kinda styling it has.

Also...I won't be keeping the twin lie-tanium exhausts. They are astronomically heavy. I will likely go down the 4-1 route unless I find 2 tasty slip ons.

It may do. However noise is noise. Pipes require zero mapping or dyno, cost 100 quid delivered and emit noise.

I don't understand why people would pay 500 quid plu for nice cans. I'd rather have the 400 spare.

Very nice! Except for those gopping whale-dong exhausts, getting rid of those is a wise choice.

What alarm did you fit? My insurance was hard to renew this year because I don't have one fitted because a tracker, chain, disc lock and kept in an alarmed brick garage overnight apparently isn't safe enough.

Bike looks a weapon! Really like it Paddy, especially the frame, better than just black isn't it.

I think the bike looks pretty classy actually, it's mildly understated and I like that a lot.
Way prefer the analogue looking rev counter to an all digi dash too.

Cans aren't great, but easily remedied.

As you say noise is noise, and end can wise looks is looks too!

But I think the multitude of cheap cans available for many sports bikes and the fact people used to bung them on with no fueling mods to suit, gave them a stigma of hurting power for more noise, or as a tacky colourful anodised mod.

The real sexuality of pipes has always been race 4-1's or 4-2-1's with stainless or Ti conical headers, hydro formed or cut and welded sections and sexy collectors that look like they are full of power and win. Its a shame that on sports bikes a full race system is hidden away under the plastics and not on full display like the art that they are!

They state np fuel adjustment, as do Scorpion. I'd rather this than a scorpion.

Having a top brand end can isn't top of my list. I've had an Akra, a yoshi and a Leo Vince on my R1. Not one of them sounded remarkably different or performed as such. This is why I couldn't care, I simply want to ditch the cat and wind up the volume knob.

If you ditch the cat, any replacement exhaust will need fuelling adjustment for the bike to run correctly (not too lean or rich). They'll claim that you don't need to because that's what you want to hear. And they're right in so far as it's unlikely to do any damage. But it will be far from optimal.

If you only want noise, it will be fine, as will pretty well any other aftermarket exhaust.
