T'is a two stroke oil based on Castor oil as far as I know. It's not quite the same as redex (a solvent?), and is only used on some competition/ classic bikes nowadays.

Smell is great. Putting it in 4T bikes causes the valves to gum up though, and I hate 2T bikes, so I dont smell it much.

Nah, it is castor based 2-stroke oil. Castrol R is the smell of speed Mr. Green

Unfortunatley, if you have been running your 2-smoke on mineral oil, castrol R is not a good plan as it will react with the oil already in the bike and knacker your bearings Sad

I have some mates who put a few drops in their petrol tank on their 4-stroke bikes. There is no good reason to do this other than the smell it makes out of your exhaust and it will probably make the engine coke up more rapidly.

You can put it in any 2 stroke, however you have to fully flush through the previous oil, so it's not possible to just use it occasionally, you have to completly change over to it.
And at nearly £15 a litre, that aint gonna happen! Laughing

The only way to run a two stroke is on the cheapest lawnmower blend! Smokescreen ahoy!!!!!

lol i put hooflungdungbrand lawnmower 2t oil through my MZ as it was all i could find in a moment of desperation. I left a massive smokescreen through worcester, all the way up the A38 into birmingham till i was able to buy some decent 2t oil lol.
