T'is a two stroke oil based on Castor oil as far as I know. It's not quite the same as redex (a solvent?), and is only used on some competition/ classic bikes nowadays. ____________________ I must not be a troll...

Nah, it is castor based 2-stroke oil. Castrol R is the smell of speed
Unfortunatley, if you have been running your 2-smoke on mineral oil, castrol R is not a good plan as it will react with the oil already in the bike and knacker your bearings
I have some mates who put a few drops in their petrol tank on their 4-stroke bikes. There is no good reason to do this other than the smell it makes out of your exhaust and it will probably make the engine coke up more rapidly. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. You can put it in any 2 stroke, however you have to fully flush through the previous oil, so it's not possible to just use it occasionally, you have to completly change over to it.
And at nearly £15 a litre, that aint gonna happen! |
