Carby blade vibration, all crank mounted alternators.

Been chasing a very annoying tingling vibration, worst as revs rise.
Carbs balanced and set-up, still there.
Long story short. If yours has been down on the L/H side, even a garage drop.... Check your alternator rotor! The engine I bought had slight rash on the case, nothing significant, as I thought.
Looks like the outer case has deformed just enough to misaligne the stator coils, hard rub on the top, slight rub on the bottom. No noises apparent, just the vibes. New outer case ordered!
Proved by running with the stator removed, oil everywhere but as smooth as I remember these to be.
