Photo Organising Software

Hello Almighty BCF Geek Zone,

My phone is getting near full with the main culprit being my photos ranging from 2014 - 2016, from my own camera and whatsapp

I crudely backed up the photos from the Phones root directory over the years, which has resulted in a folders with hundreds of unsorted photos. Made worse by not knowing which photos on my phone are & ARE NOT backed up.

So my question is ... Can anyone recommend any software that will organise my existing horde of photos?
Something that can sort all my photos using the EXIF data etc.

Lightroom will help you organise, you have multiple options but don't even have to physically move them, you can even assign keywords for searching individual photos or categories.
Or you could move all photos into a new DIR sorted by date etc with it, Adobe know their shit.
