Didn't you know that riding motorcycles is a dangerous activity? Was the school negligent at any point? Meaning did they provide you with bad equipment (motorcycle) or forgot to teach you something?

What makes you think they should pay for this? What kind of work do you do?

I'm pretty sure the training school disclaimer that you signed will have stated that they take no responsibility for injury occurred whilst training.

If you are seriously considering this then you sir are a cock and get back into your bubble wrap and stay the hell away from bikes.

1. More details needed. How did it happen?

2. Are you actually going to be off work? What is your job?

3. What gear were you wearing?

4. Don't be such a whiny cunt.

Why do you expect the school to be responsible for you getting it wrong?

So you want the training school to pay your wages until your back at work, because you made a mistake controlling the motorcycle and did not listen to the advice or instructions from your riding instructor?

Who put this idea into your head that you should try and claim against a company for letting you make a mistake? Or is it your own little mind that thinks fuck it I'll have a go at making a claim, as I've got nothing to lose and I might make a little earner out of someone else or use them to pay my bills?

It's a bit like every rear end Road accident where people grab their neck and think let's say it hurts because I'll get time off and a nice little claim for a few ££££. Manning the fuck up should save the insurance industry millions a year.

Stay away from bikes, as what will you do if you come off next time, try suing the council for not making the roads safer? It would be like coming off on a bend, and then trying to claim against the district council or highways people for not putting in a big sign telling you to slow down?

So lets get this straight, and unless you havent already guessed, you've already pissed me off.

YOU got it a bit wrong and YOU grabbed the brakes and YOU fell off. YOUR instructor said YOU should not have been on the brakes.

And you want him and his insurance to take the blame?

You are whining about not being able to drive to work, I'm sure there are other things like public transport that can get you there and dont give me bullshit about not being able to walk, There's a guy on here learning to walk again after shattering both of his legs in an off and he's not a whiney little bitch.

Yet you are really wanting to sue a guy. cost him a fortune in outlay (because you will end up losing eventually) and very possibly closing his business down, his livelyhood and his only means of supporting his family. Riding schools do not make a shitload of money, by the time insurance, storage, land, damage to bikes etc is paid there is not a lot of money left. I know this for a fact because I work for a busy local school.

Your instructor would have told you beforehand not to touch the brakes during the avoidance. In fact it is basic CBT stuff. You are taught during your CBT that all braking must be done when the bike is upright and in a straight line.

The rest... As Stevo said.

And I refer you back to my first reply, You sir are a cock.

If the training school has been negligent then there wouldn't be any cost to the school themselves as the insurance company would take care of it all.

If you go to some solicitors about it they'll want to know what it is you think the training school did that was negligent. What in your opinion did they do wrong?

What does a brake light switch being dodgy have to do with you falling off?

Which foot have you broken?

You've had a bit of bad luck. Sorry to hear that.

If you had taken out and were paying for your own Income Protection Insurance policy, then you could claim on that no matter where, when or how you'd hurt yourself (assuming they don't disallow risky activities).

The training school provided training which, in a panic, you ignored. You crashed the bike and hurt yourself. Consider what actions directly related to you crashing, and who was directly responsible. It's all you.

Is there a video of you crashing? Please post.

You've stumbled into the wrong forum.

You need to accept that you are to blame and get on with your life.
If an insurance claim did (and they wont) find in your favour, it would be a terrible thing.

I would suggest you go speak to a no win no fee company, they will tell you what we have said.

The school would have liability waivers for personal injury, just in case some moron grabs the brakes when he shouldn't.
