So today was a bit of a cock up on my part, always been into bikes and the day had finally come for me to take my MOD 2 test, after this ill have my full bike licence category A.

unfortunately for me turns out i didnt book it properly and showed up at the test centre with some other fella standing there about to take his test.

i booked it around 3 weeks ago, i was ABSOUTLEY sure i had booked it online i even remember putting in my debit card details to book it, i dont know how this happened but they had no record of my booking at all.

i never recieved a confirmation email i did find this a bit strange but i kept checking my email and it never came through, as it was a few weeks away i forgot all about it and this morning went out for an hours practice before hand and showed up at the test centre, only for me to walk into the test centre and people look at me as if why am i here (aparently there is only one bike test at a time here) and two bikers felt like a bit of an idiot tbh.

unfortunately no one to blame but myself, i dont know how it wasnt booked and im absoutley gutted but fortunately its rebooked again for another 3 weeks time.

and this time i DO have the confirmation email !

ps. thanks to everyone in the previous thread i made for all the mod 2 tips.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

well i guess iv actually "booked" it now lol rather than rebooked.

when i got home immediately checked the account that was used for the booking (my mothers) turns out the money never actually came out, i dont know how this happened as it says in big red writing

YOUR BOOKING IS NOT CONFIRMED or something. then i procedded ahead and put in the payment details and booked it, i think there must have been some mix up or someone got it before me and it threw me out without me realising and me thinking i booked it :/ ill never know but i was 100 % sure.

I know it's too late now and as you have discovered, you always get a confirmation email when it's been booked.

On the upside, at least the money hadn't been taken from the account and if you lived around here, you'd be waiting a fair while longer than three weeks to get a booking.

Good luck for the test. Thumbs Up

That must have been an annoying waste of money for the instructor too? Confused

Once, my dad went to view a bike he seen on Ebay. Exchanged pleasantries with the seller fellow on the bay, messaged him would he consider x price and can he come and view it. Said yes, as long as my dad mentions hes coming beforehand. A week later, dad goes onto bay and messages seller to see if he can view... he forgotten to send. He turns up at his address, and the bike had already sold.

2 men proceed to babble aimlessly, before slipping away into a mist of fog.

Conscious artistic-styling. I do it alot.

'Impulsively impetuous'

or perhaps,

'needless pleonasn'

Another one of my fine lines.
