Hi guys,

Was riding to work this morning, pretty warm so my 2015 ZX6R was getting hot in the lovely slow filtering and stop-start traffic.

Got to a set of traffic lights, everything normal.

Go to pull away in first, bogged down a bit almost like I hadn't given it enough revs, followed by a grinding, crunching noise coming from the engine.

Brown trousers all round, gave it a handful, up into second, everything absolutely fine. Get to work, have a quick check for any visible damage, can't see anything.

So... Help!? What do I check?

A mate at work suggested this... Would the bike move as normal initially?

I was actually moving, feet on pegs, when it happened.

Well that's a relief, anyhow!
