Considering popping down to the Black Forest 18th of June. A mate of mine or 2 are down there on bikes and feel like stretching the Bimmer's legs. Anyone have any recommendations of stuff down there?

You are doing the B500 from Baden Baden to Freudenstadt right?

After that, go a bit further south until you find a little town called Wolfach. Lovely place to stop and get lunch from the bakery.

Although about as touristy as a German Lake District, the Rhine valley is a great way to go or return.
With bikes you can divert up little lanes up the sides for amazing views, and soon escape the traffic - which almost all stays on the main roads.

Lots of places to stay on North side of Lake Constance and views to the Alps across the water are sublime.

It won't actually be too busy in June most likely.

If I go, you might be waving quite a bit cos I'm on a GT and my mate's on a GS. Apparently, there are quite a few Bimmers around that neck of the woods...

Sick to death of the bloody things. But funny watching the tail-ender of one group making a pig's ear of the hairpin bends yesterday Laughing
