Same way >Out...

Gotta love it that when someone loses they want it redone so they can win Laughing

Just the same as that jumped up SNP leader who thinks that she can do what she likes regardless of the fact that Scotland voted to stay in the UK..

It'll never happen. These young remainers are typical of the gimme gimme generation and can't take it when they're beaten fair and square to the point that they'd ride roughshod over a democractic decision - in this case using fraudulent means. They're disgusting with no dignity at all ...

I'd still vote out, but think that something this important, with its far reaching effects, should require a 2/3rds majority - the current spilt is too close.

[edit] Just looked at the numbers, Leave won with 37% of the electorate, or 27% of the population. Not enough, IMHO.

young'uns are bitching about how they have been robbed of their future.

32% of under-24s should be bitching at the other 68% who never bothered to vote.

If there was a second referendum, it would cost the taxpayers the same money the first one did. Now, ask yourself, do you, as a taxpayer, want to pay yet another several millions of pounds again? The biggest argument of the brexit party was UK wasting taxpayers money, so it now seems a bit stupid to re-do any referendums this soon. Thinking

Tell people, how much a national referendum actually costs. Let's face it, all the avg. voters actually understand is money and fear. What did Brexit party gave them as arguments? Loosing money and fear of imigration and other stuff. So, tell them how much a second referendum would cost and use the ''we will be forced to reduce our budget for kittens, to pay for the referendum'' and they will stop wanting one. Razz

The funny bit here is, that you got a chance to vote leave/stay, you voted and now you want to vote again because you were not quite sure the first time. So what is it then? BCF seems to be alright with Brexit.
Anyway, decisions were made, now it's upto the UK gov. to deal with it. As I understand the situation, referendums in the UK are normally not legally binding, they're just a reflection of the public opinion. It's the elected government, who makes the democratic decisions.

EDIT: I know you can't decide whether to have yet another ''leaving the EU'' referendum or not, well, let's have a referendum that might give us an answer whether the public wants another referendum. Thinking Clapping

I would always vote 'in.' Jobs. Money. Falling pound hurting my pocket, less pride in 'Great' Britain as our economy slides (we slid from 5th to 6th in one day - so wait until we actually exit).

The worst part is opportunity for my kid. I am genuinely devastated she won't have the same opportunity as me which was incredible, fantastic, unbelievable. Opportunity is one of the greatest things to exist and I had some amazing experiences which she and the younger gen will never have. I'm an old, hard cunt so have had my time but for the young to lose stunning opportunities is a crime.

From a jobs perspective, it's obvious we as a country will suffer. Example: We export £62 billion of stuff to the EU. Sure, there'll be trade agreements but they'll be tough with us and even a £10 billion dip in exports would cost us a huge amount of jobs. Hell, every economist in the world is telling us we're fucked.

I'm so fucking drunk right now. It's so shit. Jobs will go, services will go, salaries will be fucked but that's not what gets me. It's the lost opportunity for a younger generation which is sad beyond belief. That is irreplaceable and something my daughter will never experience. I'm fucking devastated.

Let's say there's £350M a week (even if the number is around £120M, or so). Now, UK has about 65 million of citizens, that would mean every single citizen has got to pay £5.38 a week, so the UK can be part of the common market and other EU stuff. Did people really say it's time to leave the EU because of £5.38 a week?
Yes, what Farage did was actually fecked up. Like he never even thought the Brexit campaign could have won. He was playing with words, he, nor anyone else, can not actually guarantee the £5.38 a week will be now used to fund the NHS and other claims the Brexit party did.

BUT, people are happy either way. I mean, if you supported the Brexit only because of the £5.38, realisticly £1.85, a weak, then you got it all wrong. And as it seems, about 10% of people voting for Leave the EU, actually did vote Leave because of the £1.85 a week. Thumbs Up

I'd still vote out.

But this time the remain side would win.

The one thing the remain campaign didn't have before was actual examples of the racist aspect from many of the leave voters. I've seen tons of stories of outright, middle-of-the-street, in your face racism from people since the exit win. It was some facebook post somewhere which, though admittedly took a real bleeding heart stance, was all true enough and a shock to see.

Stuff like people casually saying to eastern Europeans, "Aren't you worried? You have to leave soon. You aren't welcome in my country now." Or kids picking out all the non-white pupils at school, because they obviously aren't English at all now that we've regained whatever it is they think we've gained over these few of days since the vote. etc etc. Tons of examples. Scouting my newsfeed to find it again but I can't, sorry. Definitely an absolute ton of worrying stuff though, I'll be honest. There are people using it as an excuse to fully reveal the dumb, racist cunts they always were, and the media have this as their winning ticket to paint all brexiters in the same way.

It's this aspect which would completely crush the fair and reasoned arguments of the exit campaign. It definitely wouldn't win if the vote happened again.

Edit: Found it
