I'm expecting some made up facts, broadcast until we're sick of hearing it, and the people who made bad decisions won't get touched while the people who did what they were told to do continue to get screwed.

In life, not just relating to this latest rake-over-the-coals episode.

BEEP. BEEP. BEEP.

Unless Blair and his creatures end up behind bars (a gibbet in Iraq would be ideal), then the only lesson that the political class will learn is that they can get away with anything.

Well considering Blair & Straw have already seen the bits about them and they've not done a runner yet i doubt that this inquiry will change anything.

Its very relevant in terms if how government acts in future scenarios where there's potential to go to war.

Nice to see that Teffers Tony had time to pre-prepare his denial, citing four (4) paragraphs among the 2.6 million words, and then oozing smoothly into Lessons Learned.

"More damning than expected", but without a 3 word super-executive-summary of "Hang the villain" it's unlikely to result in him doing porridge.

Without that, there will be no change in future behaviour, and the entire thing has been a colossal waste of time and money.

I always thought vagueness was Blairs greatest attribute. He had that knack of being all things to all men. So at the end if the day there's nothing substantial to hook the hangmans rope over. He's more Foggy Blair really, you just cant find him even though you know he's in the middle of it.

Hilarious that his MPs have bottled it and won't challenge him in case he manages to get on the ballot and win again. Very Happy

Actually, I'll tell you why nothing will change. Chilcot is out, the Tories are barely concealing the snarls, Labour are plotting and what's the most read story on Pravda today?

A foreign sportsballer has been convicted of not paying foreign taxes abroad.

The proles, by and large, don't really care about politics.

Unless it's a chance take our country back or give £eleventy billion a week to the NHS.

Won't be.

Cost cutting before the war, go into it unprepared, Americans make a mess of it and they're running the show.

Blair was wearing a rather expensive looking suit for his blubbering speech. His deep sorrow and much sad does not appear to have hindered his wardrobe, or indeed his bank balance of many millions.

He was magnanimous enough to take full responsibility for going to war, which seems almost mocking when there are absolutely no consequences for him at all.

It's my response.

The only person on the martinis is you if you think this report is going to determine future government policy.
