Not for me, I've had a quick look about and came up with a few options just wondering if anyone has any personal recommendations I can put alongside to the person so they can choose.

They have asked for a convertible type after seeing a system I have but I fear their budget REALLY limits this £350.

So any suggestions to propose.

Many thanks Thumbs Up

https://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4875619.htm Would be suitable for general use. others on sale as well. Some software I looked into specified minimum core I3 and 4 GB RAM so this looks more than adequate for everyday use. If 15.6 screen is big enough, I'd go with that. not sure about screen resolution though, might want to look into graphics cards and screen res if going to do more watching/gaming though (and await other expert advice)

The Asus Transformer is a good budget convertible laptop, that'll be capable of doing most everyday things.

don't be tempted by a lenovo, the mousepad on this one really sucks and goes off on a wobble sometimes and you can't control the cursor

my old compaq cq was great
