Hi there guys. I'm struggling fixing a friends little brothers derbi senda. He already tried it himself but didn't get it quite right. I'm a car mechanic but have no experience on bikes, however I seem to be coping. The only issue that I can't resolve is how the spring is positioned on the shaft etc for the gear selector. I have pictures of what parts I have removed. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone has any helpful knowledge on this. Thanks in advance

Yeah I tried having a look through the manual before signing up on here. The manual is great at explaining a lot of things but unfortunately there is nothing about the spring position on the selector shaft etc.

Good pictures but the spring seems to look a bit different. Here's some pictures.
