Hi All.
Bike cleaning is always an emotive subject - You love the riding experience but hate how much time it takes to do the basic cleaning & maintenance.
Your bike needs to be clean in order to spot faults; it also helps to reduce wider maintenance problems - but most importantly is a reflection of the rider. Do they look after their bike? Are they responsible? Do they use their bike enough to justify its existence? Are they afraid of getting their machine dirty, or just look after it well?
Therefore whilst this is a shameless plug for our products, we just find it staggering that so many of the bike cleaning stuff out there is so rubbish! Why is that? And more importantly, why does the biking community put up such bad behaviour? The scrutiny that Oil, Tyre and clothing manufacturers get is impressive, and understandable; but the cleaning industry sells us rubbish.

Paraffin is an excellent degreaser and inexpensive.
Car shampoo is cheap.
Meguiars polish on the fairings. Expensive but will last me for years to come.
ACF50 on the nuts and bolts.
I was given some Muc-off for Father's Day. It's ok but I wouldn't buy it myself.
Thoughts.....cleaning industry tries to sell us rubbish but a lot of us know this.

Got a few tins in the garage for fishing with but may use them for this now

Really? People actually paid £30 to promote some unheard of cleaning product? In your dreams.....
Going by a similar profit margin, that makes your cleaning bottles worth about 10% of what you think they will sell for.
