What are you doing or planning to do on this scorching day? Me? Word seems to have got around my street that I have a 12v compressor and everyone is turning me up asking me to blow up their swimming pools! Rolling Eyes ASDA have them for £2.50 apparently Laughing And as the compressor takes so long in the meantime I'm putting broken bits back on their pedal bikes Rolling Eyes

I would be riding but my bike's out of action.

Trying to stay awake after coming off nights and a 73 hour week and getting ready to go on to day shift tomorrow morning for a 60 hour week. Oh the joys of the working slave.

Wishing I had a nice car with AC and could drive so I could take girls for walks or skinny dipping.

Just been feeling sorry for myself not even having a phone to talk to people as they are probably all outside now anyway.

Spent all day in a hot sweaty van with a Portuguese guy. He's actually a nice fella, but it was more body heat, plus he's one of those people who don't seem to sweat which annoying when you're red faced and sweating buckets.

Topping up tan in the ragtop ... with the A/C set to cold to the feet. Sat in traffic in Hitchin, smirking at all the tintop folk not enjoying the heat.

Same tomorrow and no doubt Wednesday and Thursday too.

Codicote road .... then Hitchin to Barton le Clay - much hooning.

Anything but what I should have been doing.

Woke up late, messed around on tinterbob for a few hours, went out for a ride, cleaned the bike. Spent an hour on the phone to a client, called that "enough work for the day", sat here eating pie and chips.

Go for a nice walk with the hound now.
