I am, what with the 'Can't turn the telly on with it being pushed down my throat', and the hot potato over the Russian's in-or-out decision over the doping allegations, it's two weeks off and already the propaganda making me want to stick my boot into the screen !. It's all bollocks with the cheating !.

Aside from the Sinatra-esque chap in the wheelchair on the channel 4 promos for the para-olympics, I can't say I've seen or hear anything about it. There was something about the Zika virus on the news a few months back, some 200 or so medical professionals suggesting people stay away and the event be moved. But that's about it.

I knew it was soon, but I didn't realise we're only 2 weeks out. So in short, no I'm not pissed off by the Rio olympics yet.

I'm still reeling from the fact that it even got to Rio in the first place. A country that's sliding in to the worst recession in 25 years, full of poverty and corruption and they're spending obscene amounts of money on it. If that doesn't harbour resentment with the locals, I don't know what will.

Back in March, some guy posted a video of thieves just blatantly targeting people at the Olympic site.

Can you imagine what this is going to be like when the games are in full swing? These guys do not give a fuck, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for them to make as much money as they can by robbing everyone and everything they can.
