I did a 2001 foxeye a few years back.
Lovely bikes, great fun for 125's.
Where about's are you located?
I had two regs go on my NSR and after the second blew I investigated and found the stator to be 'suspect'. Replaced, problem solved!
By 'investigated' I mean asked lots of people on here until they walked me through it .
Keen to see the pictures.
Plastics can be repaired to a large extent with some donor plastic and a soldering iron, melt in and mix the plastics, sand down, repaint -> good as new
Don't get it to hot though or you will burn the plastic and it will go black/brittle. There has to be a tutorial on that on here somewhere? |
