Hi pal thanks for the reply didn't get much info off the guy I got it from only that it stopped charging and he's changed numerous parts but hasn't managed to find the cause of the problem. No managed to look at it proper yet. From what I can see is the air box ain't connected but I have that minus the plastic angled pipe that goes onto the carb. Also there seems to be a lot of oil about. Plastics are a bit tired cracked clip on parts etc. will try n post some pics later today. What money / time did yours cost ???

I did a 2001 foxeye a few years back.
Lovely bikes, great fun for 125's.
Where about's are you located?

I had two regs go on my NSR and after the second blew I investigated and found the stator to be 'suspect'. Replaced, problem solved!
By 'investigated' I mean asked lots of people on here until they walked me through it Laughing.

Keen to see the pictures.

Plastics can be repaired to a large extent with some donor plastic and a soldering iron, melt in and mix the plastics, sand down, repaint -> good as new Very Happy

Don't get it to hot though or you will burn the plastic and it will go black/brittle. There has to be a tutorial on that on here somewhere?
