Good evening everyone.

Having been riding around on my Honda CBF125 I decided it was time to take the DAS and passed my Mod 1 and, more recently, Mod 2 on Wednesday last week, with no minors. I was really chuffed the examiner said it was a perfect ride.

So, delighted with my performance I though I would jump in the deep end and buy myself a Honda CB1000r. I know this is likely to cause a debate but I have done a couple hundred miles since and loving every second on the bike.

I'm from the Lancashire area, more specifically Buckshaw Village, so if there are any local riders or any suggestions to any meets that happen in the North West let me know. I would like to meet like minded people.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi!

Twisted Evil

Hi there. Congrats on your pass and also the CB! I'm envious I must admit. How's the bike?

P.s I'm from Blackpool so probably not far away.

Hah! I see through your troll guise, examiners don't have human emotions. Folded arms

And yet Smiler's license is just as valid. Whistle

Hello @bozzy and @rogerborg. The bike is fantastic. I'm finding the power on this bike so much more useful compared t the 125cc. I remember when I was on the 125cc and getting myself to the front and every now and again a bmw or merc etc would launch off the line and get in front. but not anymore! not on my cb1000!

The balance and clutch/gears are so much more better and loving how quickly I can get to motorway speeds on the motorway.

Bozzy I head up in to Blackpool every now and again so if you see a red CB1000r, and I'm wearing a Marco Simoncelli Helmet, stop and say hello.
