Hi all,
I recently bought the ER5 and i got it home, but then suddenly the speedo stopped working. The rev counter, fuel gauge and mileometer still work tho. I don't think its the cable. Maybe the clocks have broke? Anyone know anything? or how it can be fixed???

I'm not 100% on the specifics of the er5 but...
Its most likely the cable, did it jump about before going or just stop?
Undo the cable from the front wheel (it might be driven from the gear box though, i dunno...) and then try twisting the cable, or pulling it, if it comes out then its broken
When you change your cable be sure to oil it (used engine oil is handy for this) idealy liquid graphite or similar... it will last longer that way ____________________ >RidingSkills<->Tech Tips<->MyBikes< |
