I really can't understand the mentality of these sales people that think putting a clear 'SPAM' recommendation for something completely 'off topic' on a relatively specialised forum, is a good idea. All it does for me is make it 100% certain I will not buy any of their products.

I don't like it but I can see the logic of SPAM for an associated product (A bike product on a bike forum or a car product on a car forum) but this makes no sense at all.

I guess we're either into the 'are "sales" people really this thick' territory or it's their main competitor trying to get them a bad name...
