Spending £80 on a keyboard can fuck off

Everyone I know who has one likes it though, I'd like one but aren't going to spend that much money.

I got one of those Corsair Strafe flashing illminated things, pisssed off with solar rubbish / battery powered crap / failing membranes - this is as quiet as I like ( i'm not a key basher) and if you can type, it's lovely to use.

Cherry MX red switches - apparently - i CGAF about that, i just like the feel of the thing.

And they prefer the sound of vinyl played through a valve amp, they really, really do.

My concern is what happens when you buy a new cherry keyboard for work out of your own pocket and WITHIN 24 FUCKING HOURS one of the office assistants has spilled tea on it. ffs

Most who complain about mechanical keyboards are the one's who have to sit near the douche canoe at work with Cherry MX Blue keys.

Sums it up.

A Roll-A-Dex and a Dot Matrix printer would make the full retro set.

What? I can't hear you. I'm in the office.

I have two mechanical keyboards that cost 40 quid each from Amazon complete with rainbow pride blinkenlights.

They've worked pretty well for the best part of a year now.

Excellent pieces of kit.

If you use them with someone else in the room, first you'll hear cat sounds, the sort of wailing ones. Then you'll get your eyes clawed out.

I bought them when I was working on the computer 10 hours a day along with a decent-ish Logitech mouse. Seemed like a good investment.

I have a mechanical keyboard. Was slightly concerned that it would be clicky and annoying, but it's not too bad, and OH bought one too.
Corsair Strafe, was a birthday pressie for me last year.
