Nope, I wouldn't take it to a garage. It looks clean enough to me and if the engine runs alright, then there is no point in fidling with it. But just for the piece of mind, check how much a new air filter would cost and if it's cheap, change it. By the looks of the filter, the motorcycle is meant to do some miles in dirt, dust and mud, that would explain the cleaning you were reading in the manual about. As advised. The filter look pristine.
The new filter will be so expensive because they platinum coat that wire safety mesh.
Then they remove the platinum before they sell it to you.
