Supercharged Triumph Thruxton R

Two modified Triumph Thruxtons R by Rotrex, presented the last weekend at the Glemseck 101, Germany. Both equipped with a supercharger, pushing 140 hp and 157 Nm of torque out of the Triumph's liquid cooled paraler twin cylinder engine.
The first one, white fairings, won all the rounds of the 1/8th mile drag race held at the meeting, with the four-time WSBK champion Carl Fogarty in the saddle. Carl Fogarty could even beat a Kawasaki H2R, which tells us a lot about gearing of his Thruxton. Although 157 Nm of torque is a big figure nonetheless.
