As title says I've got the genuine Kawasaki bolts to fit the centre stand, however they didn't come with nuts - can I buy any nuts to use with these or do I need a specific/specialised nut? Thread size etc?

If someone could let me know asap, it would be much appreciated! Cheers

go to cmsnl and find your bike, find the exploded view of the centre stand etc, look in the list, may be info in there.....but probably 8mm x 1mm pitch?? self locking type.

Go to a hardware shop, no not computer hardware, taking the bolt with you.

Some hardware shops have "good girls", so try an old one, or an old bloke, you may be suprised when he/she says, yep, we have those, how many do you want??

Don't bother asking an assistant of your age group.

You need an M10 locknut. Looks to be standard pitch from the picture.

So what you want is an m10 nylock nut.

Wouldn't normally advise this but probably the quickest and easiest place to get them is B&Q. £2.33 for a pack of 6 in zinc plated steel.

This. But if you have a hardware shop more local then they're much cheaper than that. Neither way is going to break the bank.

You won't need them, as the nylon won't melt in this application, but you can get this type which are awesome at not rattling loose:

Just obviously need to find the right size.
