Fook knows who the actual manufacturer is but are they any good? Will they deteriorate quickly? 5L of fully synth for £22 is very tempting, does anyone have any experience with these?

Should I just spend the extra and get a 'brand'?

P.S. No this isn't a 'which oil' thread! It's a 'are these oils from small British companies any good?' thread Razz

The containers look like shit. Very Happy

But it's a poor mechanic who judges an oil by it's can.

I've used the LubeTech, I did a bit of reading and was taken in by the whole "we don't spend money on marketing so we can focus on the end product" shebang. That bumph seems to be missing from their website now, but they do claim this:

"We are stockists of Exol Lubricants who's products reach the highest specification comparing with Castrol, Shell, Texaco, Fuchs, Motul etc."

That stuff went in my 125's mind you...

Last time I bought oil I managed to get 5L of Shell Advance Ultra for £24.95 from EGhey, which is the 'recommended' oil for my bike. I don't think I'd turn my nose up to the LubeTech stuff if I couldn't get a 'recognised' brand for cheapy cheap though.

FTFY Thumbs Up

I think Mannol is originally a German company and been around a while. I was looking at some of their oils a while back.

I would probably take a punt on them or Westway.

That said, I didn't actually do it.

I have been using Lubetech products for the last 8-9 years and find it completely acceptable and offers good performance.
I buy 4 x fully synth at a time
https://www.lubetechshop.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=22_27&products_id=32
And use the discount code C90 for an extra 10% Wink Wink

Also good that they are 5L containers not the usual 4L the most sell.
