The inevitable outcome of soft touch sentencing more like. I doubt very much this was a first offence for any of the 4.
CPS is why they are back on the streets, ooman rights is why when they were caught last time for whatever they did
then the old bill didn't give them a hiding in the van to teach them some manners. Instead they would have been
sent on their way with a slapped wrist and a fine to not pay no doubt with their lack of opportunity held up as the
reason they are scum. It's just a bit convenient to only blame the Police for this.
Not that I'm defending the bastards that did this, but the death may have more to do with have a go hero taking on
4 scabby yutes with no morals or regard for others. I would have dialed 999 and said there's someone outside waving a gun
around. There's a big Police place half a mile up the road on the corner of Grove road. They should have gotten there quite
quickly. And if not then meh, it's just a moped.
I posted about this yesterday in a different thread. If a similar thing was happening to me again, I'd look at the odds
and probably just let them take the bike. There's only 1 of me and there's four of them then even if they are
unarmed it will end badly. I took on a group of 6 lads when I was 16 who were trying to take my moped from
outside the pizza place I worked at one evening. That happened at Martins corner Dagenham to anyone local.
Twatted a couple of them but was bundled to the floor where I was kicked in the head so much I couldn't hold
my head upright or turn it to the side for over a month. After they had finished kicking me in the head, one produced
a motorbike chain and let me have it with that a few times for good measure, I was down and not getting up, no
need for that. I'm just glad it happened when it did. These days I'd have been stabbed.
When they were finished they pushed my bike over and fucked off.
At the end of the day it's insured and it's just a bike. If I'm down and bleeding, then my wife is probably next if
they don't have what they want yet. It's the same reason that my car keys are just inside the front door, these
people wouldn't think twice about holding a knife to a womans or even childs throat to make someone comply
with their demands and hand over car keys or whatever it is they're after. With age comes wisdom and cheap insurance.

To be fair, I rather expect that the murderers will be regular customers of theirs, and it'll be the revolving door at the local Magistrate's Court that'll be to thank for letting them roam feral.
There'll be the usual Increased Police Presence for a day or so, some talk about getting tough on crime, tough on the causes of crime, then it'll turn out that Society is really to blame, or Climate Change, and it'll be back to business as usual. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

It probably isn't a first offence for any of them, but what percentage of their offences would you assume the police actually respond to in a meaningful way?
How many more times could they have been sentenced if the police did more than recite 4 digit numbers over the phone?
Yes, the police have more to do than defending some moped on a suburban street, so the police should do what it takes to make sure they have a reasonable chance to respond (they don't have to respond to every single incident to be more effective than responding to none). If they don't have the resources, it's the fault of the police for allowing their line to be spread too thin.
Human rights has bugger all to do with it. Lack of policing leads to scum getting ever more confident. At some point their confidence puts them in front of someone who will stand up to them, and that can lead to instances like this (they could have just run off, but no, they are so confident they can still get that scooter that they push it too far).
To many people out there, that £750 piece of metal and plastic is the only thing allowing them to pay their rent next week (maybe not in this case, who knows). I know what it can be like as I was put out of work by the attempted theft of my car in 2012, and had a nightmare getting back on track (the police weren't going to respond to it at all, until I went out to stop it myself). |

I expect those lads and the many many more like them now residing in that area keep the Police very busy with their
gangland antics. But, you underestimate the power of the race card mate. BLM will be all over this like a cheap tvs at Asda.
I have family in uniform and it's career ending if Baklaff Mambossa gets a good enough legal aid parasite, I mean brief...
Police have to keep their jobs too, my sister is a single parent and has two kids to feed and clothe as well as come home
to each day. Is your job dangerous? Is there a chance you might not make it home each day? I honestly believe it's
high time the Police all had guns. To quote Dr Dre ' A gat makes any nigga civilised' I think he was onto something.
FFS they have guns now, 300 quid will tool one of these arseholes up. Would you fancy your chances with only pepper spray
a baton and harsh language to defend yourself against 4 machete wielding ferals determined to not be taken in? ____________________ Currently enjoying products from Ford, Mazda and Yamaha

Do you think the Police set their own budgets? Or get to pick and choose what situations they have to wade into without
the right kit? I think you need to focus blame a little higher. ____________________ Currently enjoying products from Ford, Mazda and Yamaha
