I am blessed/cursed with a long oval head shape, which seems to limit my choice in the helmet market. I currently have a Shoei NXR, which I had to have custom fitted to add extra cheek padding. The only other helmet I know that fits my head shape is an Arai Quantum ST Pro.

I want to buy another helmet but I'm struggling... are there any oval-headed brethren on here, and what lids do you have?

I have trouble finding helmets for my head shape too. HJC fits me well and it's what I currently wear as most of the other brands aren't a good fit.

HJC helmets are short front-to-back - they push into my forehead whereas Arai and Shoei are comfortable. If you have a long head I doubt HJC will suit.
